Skala names, decoded

The jars reach US shelves with their Brazilian names on the front. A few words unlock most of them.

The words that repeat

Mais means more. Cachos are curls and crespos are coils, so Mais Cachos is more curls and Mais Crespos is more coils. Lisos are straight.

The ending -inho makes a word small: cachinhos are little curls, and those jars are for children. Potão is a big jar and potinho a little one.
